ABB VM600 Monitoring System: IOC4T Module Operation
MANDATORY PRECAUTIONS
- De-energize associated sensors (accelerometers/proximitors) before connection
- Verify floating ground configuration: Isolation voltage >250V DC (Channel-to-Backplane)
- Wear ESD wrist strap (1MΩ resistance) during handling
Hardware Configuration
Step 1: Module Installation

1. Insert into VM600 rack slot: Position E4-E7 only (PNR200-560 requirement)
2. Engage locking levers: Apply 8 Nm torque until audible click
3. Grounding: Connect shield terminal (X1.13) to rack earth bar (≤0.1Ω continuity)
